John P. Quinn diaries, 1864-1865, 2010.

The collection consists of two of John P. Quinn's diaries that he wrote while serving in Company H of the 89th Indiana Regiment during the Civil War. The diaries contain brief entries about daily events. There is also a transcription done by Katherine Newman in 2010.

John P. Quinn was a resident of Adams County, Indiana when he enlisted in 1862 to serve in Company H of the 89th Indiana Regiment during the Civil War. He was promoted to sergeant in June 1864.
